The event is a benefit for Equality NC, who have also been very, very active and supportive in LGBTQ efforts. They have been doing great work on anti-bullying policies. (If you attended our L Word potluck a few weeks ago, you might remember signing a petition about safer schools. Yep, that was Equality NC)
