This is a very busy week at the Rainbow Factory (map), make sure you come and check out some of our events for this week:

We have our first queer dance party scheduled for this Saturday, February 14. Valentine’s Gay is gonna be a blast, Ninjatronics (our very own scantron and teknacolorninja!) will be spinning your favorite tunes at the party and have asked that guests bring a mix CD which Ninjatron will add to the night’s play list. We are also going to have a couple of visualizers hooked up and a photo booth so you can remember this Valentine’s Gay for life. Be sure to bring a few dollars to throw in for donations. We’ve had a few questions come up about what it is all about, but the only way you really are going to know is by showing up, so just do it! (Oh yeah, and dress up in all one color.)

The Sunday following is our Queero Bike Date, it will begin at 1PM at the Rainbow Factory and will take you on a leisurely stroll through downtown Wilmington highlighting all of our GLBTQ spots. The tour will stop at Greenfield Lake (map) for the Gayest Picnic Contest! Interpret this in any gay way you would like! If you are unable to ride with us feel free to meet us at the park, the crew should be arriving around 2:30PM. Meet at the area between the skate park and the playground.

Just like every other Sunday, we are having our weekly potluck and showing of the L Word. We have had a great turn out every Sunday so far so let us keep it going and bring your best veggie dishes! The Potluck starts at 7:30 and we usually start the L Word shortly after 9, if you can’t get there on time we have a break midway through the show so come then! There are always amazing homemade dishes by the queeros!
