We believe that sharing our stories and offering our different perspectives will open people’s eyes to realize that we are all human beings no matter the color of our skin, the country we are from, the body parts we were born with, the people we are attracted to, the god that we do (or do not) pray to, the socio-economic status of our families, etc. We examine our culture and dissect things for what they really are. We dig at the root and analyze the things that hurt us the most so we can try to heal them. We acknowledge that we live in a hate-filled, capitalistic world, but we also acknowledge that there are beautiful things and amazing people on this earth who are trying to show other people that beauty. Those are the people who are heroes.

Submission Guidelines:

Commentary on current LGBTQ news, politics, activism and culture. Personal stories that share your experiences and perspective as an LGBTQ person. If you have ideas, let us know. We are open to listening. We accept article submissions on all issues that relate to the LGBTQ community by e-mail. We accept previously published material. Send us a link or clipping of the published piece for consideration. For longer or original pieces (1000+ words), we prefer that a proposal be e-mailed to us beforehand. We encourage non-published writers to submit their ideas. Please send inquiries by filling out this form.
